From November 15 to 17, the verses and sounds of Huapango will resound in a great party with La Huasteca in Los Pinos, an initiative that is a reflection of the Huasteca Festival, dedicated to raise the cultural diversity of this region of Mexico that unites the states of Hidalgo, Puebla, Querétaro, San Luis Potosí, Tamaulipas and Veracruz.
This time, the Huasteca will move to Mexico City so that the citizens and visitors to Los Pinos Cultural Complex can discover and enjoy the vitality of this multicultural and multilingual ancestral region, where Tenek, Nahua, Totonaco, Tepehua Otomí, Pame indigenous peoples live and the mestizo culture; with strong ties that identify and unite them as Huastecos.
The heliport will be stage for music presentations to the rhythm of sones, versifiers and brass bands; dances performed for centuries by our indigenous and mestizo peoples; Expo selling of artisanal, gastronomic and traditional medicine products. Also in the movie theater of Miguel Alemán house, we’ll have presentations of books, albums and documentaries.
